New CRM Feature: Event Uploader
What is Event Uploader?
We’ve made getting data into OptifiNow easier with our new feature, Event Uploader. With just a few clicks, you can import lists of contacts yourself. Your newly imported contacts are then automatically associated with company records with the same domain, and contacts with the same email addresses are matched instead of duplicated-no more manual associations. We have also improved the process to manage your contacts with Tags OnDemand. With this new tool, customized tags can be added to contact records in bulk, allowing you to filter contacts and create custom marketing segments that make it easy to deploy targeted campaigns.
Why does it matter?
Wholesale mortgage lenders deal with many contact lists from tradeshows, webinars and other events. Loading contact data lists into your CRM shouldn’t be time-consuming or difficult. Instead, it should be simple and avoid adding costly duplicate contacts into your database.
Case in point, have you ever sent a marketing campaign only to realize that you sent the same email to the same person multiple times? Having duplicate contacts in your database poses serious problems such as lost productivity and negative perceptions of your brand. Sales and marketing teams waste time trying to understand, edit and work around duplicate entries in your database. Moreover, sending the same message multiple times to the same contact can negatively affect their opinion of your brand, causing higher churn rates and reducing loyalty. And when your sales team uses inaccurate data or information that isn’t up to date during a sales call, things can get sideways quickly. Avoiding duplicate contacts is an imperative, not a luxury.
At the same time, the ability to easily segment your database with laser-focused targeting is a must-have. Your marketing team relies on your database for nearly everything they do. Identifying segments of your contact database is one of your marketing team’s essential tasks. Identifying contact segments is done by filtering and sorting groups of contacts into segments. These segments (groups of contacts) can be sent a specific message relevant to the segment they belong to. Sending the right message at the right time to the right person requires aggregating lists of contacts based on relevant criteria. This is a must in today’s competitive market environment.
How does it work?
Self Service Contact Imports: Event Uploader allows users to import data into OptifiNow via the user portal.
Add Tags with Updated Import Template: The import template now includes a new column – Tags. If there are new tags on the import, they will be added to the contact record. Tags are not overwritten in the CRM, only additive. Tags allow you to create segments of contacts allowing for the execution of marketing campaigns.
Manage Customized Tags in your CRM: Create and manage your customized tags in OptifiNow. Activate, deactivate and create new tags for your contact records in your user portal.
Prevent Duplicate Contacts from Being Created: Event Uploader has a built-in automated deduplication process that finds matching records based on email addresses. If the contact’s email address exists in the database, Event Uploader will prevent a new contact from being added.
Automatically Associate Contacts to Company Record: If Event Uploader doesn’t find a matching contact’s email address when importing new records, it will automatically associate the new contact to a company record whose website domain matches the contact’s email domain.
